This made life even more difficult for peasants, since they were being cheated over and over again.
Furthermore, the rebellion came about because there was absolutely no assistance for the local people during difficult times. For example, in droughts many people died of thirst and starvation. Other natural disasters caused many deaths as well. The wealthy portion of the country did nothing to help the people who were dying. The most densely populated part of the country at that time was the Julu region, and it was from here that the famous rebellion started to take effect.
The rebellion did not solve these matters instantly, it took some time for its efforts to be realized. However, the important thing is it that it did cause a change in China, regardless of how doubtful it appeared to be in the beginning. The peasants continued to fight for their rights, even in an indirect manner, and eventually reaped the rewards.
This ensured that each group was easy to divide. Many leaders died and so many other lives perished. However, the rebellion of the yellow turbans went on till these peasants had the life they desired. These peasants did not want to be wealthy, all they needed was to live a normal and respectful life. All they wanted was to take care of their families.
