Doing Good With The Wildcat Foundation

By Virginia Bailey

The most comprehensive falsehood of human society is that of equality. That everyone is equal is a demonstrable lie. In no society is everyone equal. No matter what happens, no matter how rigidly a government follows Marxist principles, there are always going to be those who find a way to elevate themselves. Now, this ability to elevate generally starts at school. However, schools themselves are not equal, and a good institution can greatly affect how far one goes in life. But there are entities who seek to bridge the gaps somewhat, entities like the Wildcat foundation.

The foundation is an institution of charity. In fact, it is recognized as such. This of course means that the donations made can be written come tax season, because they are apparently deductible.

Their mission is simple. That simple mission would be render aids to schools that need it. They do this by enlarging their endowment and then sending some of that money off to a school that they determine has a legitimate need for it. That money is then supposed to help meet that need.

It is needed because children literally are the future. As such, they should be given as many opportunities to excel as possible. Those opportunities generally start at school. So schools should be given what they need in order to do what they do. But because schools get their funding straight from their districts, they may not always have the money they need.

Now, while it does provide extra funding to some schools, the real beneficiaries are the students. The programs that it pays for are going to go a long way to helping a child better develop into a fully formed person. This extra development may translate to a greater level of success later in life.

If offers its help through the use of money. Oftentimes, people think that they only way to help is to be on the ground and get their hands dirty. This is not always the case. Manpower is great, but only money gets resources.

People volunteer for various reasons. For some, it is a requirement, penance for some crime that they committed in the past. For others, it is public relations, a task that makes them look good towards other people. Then there are the legitimately virtuous, those who render their time and labor for free because they simply care so much about the cause they are working for.

Donations can and should be made. The aid that they offer would be much more difficult to render without them. Now, donations can be made in the name of someone else, or in the memory if someone who is deceased.

The thing about people is that they have wants and needs. They have dreams. But not everyone is going to get to live their dreams. Some will fail in their attempt to do so. Others will never get the chance at all. But there are some out there who are trying to create opportunities for everyone.
