The Dynamics Affecting Public Service Before Politics

By Nancy Fox

Governmental provisions are influenced by socio-economic, political and cultural factors. The political factor has a more impact on the overall performance of government activities that are usually in phases of processes. These processes majorly entail provisions of social amenities that are essential for the common interest of all citizens living in a country or a state. These postulates are more skewed on public service before politics and how the latter affects such provisions.

The political environment is a blend of various segmental activities that have a direct impact on it in general. The activities majorly revolve around gaining supremacy through the provision of key facilities that are essential for the welfare of all people living within a jurisdiction. One of the most influential attributes of such provisions is the service characteristics and its importance to people. This feature presses the politicians no toes to commit their roles in public provisions as required.

The level of control and monitoring on political actors and the key provider organizations poses a direct impact on how such provisions are made. This majorly affects the state and manner in which such essentialities are provided in some situations such as the onset of political campaigns. The degree of monitoring modifies political processes and outcomes since their effects are immutable.

Similarly, the level of user pressure is also a core factor that drives the providers to channel the services. The pressure is made effective by the intensity in which it is voiced out and also the approach used by citizens to raise their issues. This is because the public provisions usually create a link that binds the voters and politicians. The manner in which the politicians carry out their duties nourishes the trust of people and their state expectations.

The provisions should be given a priority by the respective providers who are politicians. They thus need to be delivered with a high degree of integrity. They should also be centered around the wants of citizens as well being responsive to their needs, especially those that are the most vulnerable. Thus, the state should promote greater transparency, enable citizens to voice their preferences to facilitate better use of funds and foster service delivery.

In addition, the manner in which these provisions are distributed before politics is determined by the political and social consensus. This is due to the fact that the services are not provided in a mutually responsive approach, but in an elective democratic approach. The approach roots the ground for an equitable resource distribution in any country. However, the approach used usually has some political connections.

Moreover, service characteristics, asymmetry in information flow, pressure from citizens and political accountability are the prime strategies behind the provisions before politics gain force. Thus, the various political agents make use of such tactics to lure people and gain popularity before the cast of ballots. The culture has ruined various economies. Political influences should not be connected to such provisions since they are essential for the common good of all people.

Therefore, the culture is deeply rooted in many countries where the public services are tied to political procedures and processes. It has been heavily revoked by various altruistic movements and remarkable philosophers. These provisions are part and parcel of core human rights and thus should not be tied to politics.
